Hey Everyone! A new Edition of the Penguin Times was released today. The Newspaper discusses many interesting things including the April Fools’ Day Party, Easter Egg Hunt Reviews, Secret Rooms and Loads more! This is not an ordinary Newspaper though. It has a lot of unique things, like Billybob said there would be. There are Secret Buttons all over the Newspaper, Colored Areas with Marker, Editorial Comments, and More! Penguin Of the Month Contest

One of the out of the ordinary, things in the Newspaper is the Penguin of the Month Contest. You can view this Contest on Pages 5-6 of this week’s Edition of the Penguin Times.

This Contest is just a Trick. The Newspaper will change to say that the Contest is your Penguin’s Name. This Trick fooled me because I logged in to read the Newspaper and it said the Penguin of the Month was Flamster101. I was shocked and excited but then I realized it was just a Prank for the April Fools’ Day Party.

Today Billybob released more information regarding the April Fools’ Day Party. If you don’t know yet, the April Fools’ Day Party will be this Friday! This year for the April Fools’ Day Party there will be “non-stop” silliness according to Billybob. He even says that the Newspaper will be changed up! The April Fools’ Day Party looks like it is going to be really fun! It is supposed to be a completely different style of a party this year. Everyone thinks that there will be a Propeller Hat released this year for the April Fools’ Day Party. Well, there isn’t going to be a Propeller Hat this year. They will be releasing a pair of Swirly Glasses. Here is the Information about the Swirly Glasses:

The Swirly Glasses sound like they are going to be a cool Free Item but, I am not sure if they are going to live up to the High Expectations for this Party. The April Fools’ Day Party looks like it is going to be a good party, but not a great one. The good things about the Party is that it is going to be different and unique. I am not sure that the Swirly Glasses will be a great Free Item, but you never know. It could be a really cool Item. Hello Penguins!

Here are the locations of the eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt 2008 party, and how to get the green bunny ears!

You can find the first egg at the lantern in the mine.

The second egg is at the Dock on the boards.

The third is at the pet shop in a cage.

The fourth is at the book room on the top shelve discuised as a cactus.

The fifth egg is in the gift shop on the poster in the right.

Next, you can find the sixth in the box in the lodge attic by scrolling over it.

Finally, the coolest and hardest egg to find is at the dojo (The egg will spawn at random areas)

When you have gotten all the eggs you can get the green bunny ears:

Since Club Penguin made a ninja egg, do you think that this means that ninjas will soon be in Club Penguin?

Hello Penguins!

Hey Everyone! Today a New Edition of the Penguin Times was released! The Newspaper really discusses a lot about the “Save the Migrator Project” and how far that we have come with the project. The Newspaper basically says that they have done a lot of good things so far and have come a long way with the “Save the Migrator Project,” but the newspaper also says that they still have a hard task a head of them. They still have to Finish Building the Migrator, Find a way to Contact Captain Rockhopper, and Find Something to do with the Aqua Grabber. Even though there is still a lot to be done the Migrator has been completely changed and is almost back to the way it used to be. The Newspaper discusses the Migrator further more.

The Easter Party Sneak Peek

The Easter Party is coming tomorrow everyone! This years Easter Party is supposed to be one of the best parties in the History of CP! This year a scavenger hunt will be going on. Here is a preview picture of the Scavenger Hunt:

A Scavenger Hunt is when you search for something. For the Easter Party we will be searching for Eggs. If we manage to find all of the Eggs we will receive a special prize most likely to be a Free Item or Pin. This year Aunt Artic is going to be hiding all of the Easter Eggs and no one will know where the Eggs are until the Eggs are released for the Scavenger Hunt. Aunt Artic will leave us clues and hints to help penguins complete the Scavenger Hunt. The Easter Eggs are always extremely colorful and there is also always magnificent Decorations during the Easter Party!

April Fools’ Day Party

The April Fools’ Day Party is also on its way here! From March 28th-April 2nd we will be celebrating the April Fools’ Day Party. It is supposed to be a blast with a bunch of unusual transformations! Every year the April Fools’ Day party is unique and is loads of fun! I can’t wait until this years party which will start on Friday March 28, 2008! Hello Penguins!

If you go in the club penguin test server’s swf http://play.clubpenguin.co.uk/load.swf and log in then make the screen smaller, you will see an clock that looks like this:

That is an egg timer.

Some of you might be wondering… What is an egg timer?

The egg timer was a project that Club Penguin came up with a long time ago that they never officaly released. It would allow parents to set a time limit on how long their child is able to play on Club Penguin for.

Those with the egg timer enabled on their account would see it to the left of the mod badge in the game on the top right corner of their screen. When your time limit is reached you will get an error message like this:

From what I have heard if you press “Learn More” it will take you to a page listing alternate activities you can do such as playing outside.

Club Penguin never put the Egg Timer in to the game and I don’t know if they plan on doing it. I just thought it was weird how they would put it in the test servers.

And then you will be transfered to http://test.clubpenguin.com where you can help find bugs.

Here is one bug I found, if someone is wearing the blue or red soccer jersey, it will go above the spot it is supposed to be in.

The new game is out, it is a pre written story that you type out, however you can change the scenario at certain points. You can find the game in the book room:

You can choose from 2 differnt stories, the first one is called My Puffle and the second one is called Burnt Out Bulbs.
